Widely influenced by Fleetwood Mac via Kraftwerk to Joy Division and their individual backgrounds in London and New York, the pair evolved quickly into their singular identity on debut album 'Services', including underground dancefloor hit 'Strange Harvest', which led to extensive international touring and sold out shows. Their 2017 EP 'Fundamental Fantasy' was released as a result of The Vinyl Factory's Volcano Extravaganza artist residency on the Aeolian island of Stromboli. Tempers' interest for the arts led to the 2018 release 'Junkspace (feat. Rem Koolhaas)', collaborating with famed architect Rem Koolhaas through samples of his interview discussing the deconstructed banality and overlooked grace of 20th century shopping mall culture. 2019's full length 'Private Life' progresses their cinematic aesthetic into a moodier and more introspective landscape and features their most popular track to date, 'Capital Pains'. The recent 'New Meaning' is the sophomore album on Dais Records, including the advance single Unfamiliar and the stunning 3D animated video-art for Sightseeing. The artists' connection to visual arts reflects also in Chen Wei's cover photo 'Lost Hotel' and Jasmine Golestaneh's book featuring her album-inspired collages on Old Habits Publishing, released alongside the album. She presents a live punk melancholic soundscape, with references from electronic and avant-pop; as well as the British and French synth-pop and electro pop scene. With a strong stage presence, intense delay, field-recordings, and dramatic polyphonic vocals VASSIŁINA stumbles between chaos and dance music. In March 2019 she self-released her first singles Pain and Blue House and within a year she performed in various venues around the UK, Greece and Italy. In May 2021, she released her debut LP “Fragments’’ by Inner Ear Records and gained public attention by the greek press, Rolling Stone magazine, GR.(on the cover),on VICE, ELLE etc. After the release of her debut album, she headlined various shows in the UK and Greece, including headlining an all day festival at The Shacklewell Arms (LND), and played in festivals such as Pride Athens, In edit, IOS Festival, Athens Digital Art Festival, Athens Music Week and In-Orbit organised by SNFCC. She has collaborated with other greek electronic artists such as Die Arkitekt, Bonebrokk, NTENTENIS and Metaman and currently collaborating with Kadebostany on his upcoming releases. Τα άψογα φωνητικά χαρίσματα της Jasmine Golestanah συνυπάρχουν με τα σκληρά beats και το μεθυστικό darkwave ήχο τους, καθιστώντας τους μια πραγματικά σαγηνευτική και ξεχωριστή μπάντα. Με έντονα delays στις φωνές, απόκοσμα field-recordings και μελαγχολικές πολυφωνίες, η VASSIŁINA ακροβατεί ανάμεσα στο χάος και στην dance σκηνή. Το 2019 κυκλοφόρησε τα πρώτα της singles «Pain», «Blue House» και «You think you know, but baby you don’t», παίζοντας σε venues στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, Ελλάδα. και Ιταλία. Τον Μάιο του 2021, κυκλοφόρησε το debut άλμπουμ της «Fragments» με της Inner Ear Records. Μετά την κυκλοφορία του άλμπουμ της, έκανε shows σε Ελλάδα και Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, headline show σε ολοήμερο φεστιβάλ στο The Shacklewell Arms (LND) και σε Ελληνικά φεστιβάλ όπως Athens Pride, In-edit, IOS Festival, Athens Digital Art Festival, Athens Music Week και In-Orbit του SNFCC.
