Οι Wu-Tang Clan, το μεγαλύτερο rap γκρουπ όλων των εποχών, αποτελούνται από τους εξής MCs: RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God και Masta Killa. Μέχρι τον θάνατό του το 2004, συμμετείχε και ο Ol’ Dirty Bastard ενώ το 2007 εντάχτηκε στο σχήμα και ο Cappadonna. Ο Ghostface Killah, ο Method Man και ο Ol’ Dirty Bastard ήταν οι τρεις MCs που ξεχώρισαν αμέσως από το υπόλοιπο κλαν και έλαμψαν και ως solo καλλιτέχνες.
Το βιογραφικό του μιλάει από μόνο του: όλα τα κλασικά άλμπουμ των Wu-Tang (36 Chambers, Wu-Tang Forever, The W κ.α.), 13 solo albums (Ironman, Supreme Clientele, Fishscale κ.α.), και δεκάδες συνεργασίες με αστέρια της μαύρης μουσικής, όπως η Mary J. Blige, η Beyoncé, η Missy Elliott, o Nas, ο Kanye West, ο Kendrick Lamar, o Busta Rhymes, οι Mobb Deep, αλλά και με μουσικούς άλλων μουσικών ειδών, όπως με το jazz τρίο Bad Bad Not Good.

🇬🇧 Ghostface Killah is coming to Athens on Saturday, November 23, 2024, joined by many special guests, for a night celebrating 90s hip-hop.
The stage at Floyd will also host other Wu-Tang members, such as Cappadonna and Inspectah Deck, as well as Efthimis from Terror X Crew, alongside Sifu Versus and DJ Wheel-M. The concert will kick off with DJ sets by Marina and Eversor.
The Wu-Tang Clan, the greatest rap group of all time, was formed in New York City in 1992 by the following MCs: RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa. Until he died in 2004, Ol’ Dirty Bastard was also a member and on 2007 Cappadonna joined the crew. Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard were the three MCs who immediately stood out from the rest of the clan and shone as solo artists. The debate over the “best” MC in the clan, between Ghostface Killah and Method Man, remains timeless among rap music fans.
Ghostface Killah is a living legend of rap, not only for his involvement with Wu-Tang but also for his enduring presence as a solo rapper over the past 30 years. His biography speaks for itself: all the classic Wu-Tang albums (36 Chambers, Wu-Tang Forever, The W, etc.), 13 solo albums (Ironman, Supreme Clientele, Fishscale, etc.), and hundreds of collaborations with stars of black music, such as Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Missy Elliott, Nas, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep, as well as with musicians from other genres, like the jazz trio Bad Bad Not Good.
Get ready for a journey filled with raw, unfiltered New York rap, where every rhyme resonates with the essence of Wu-Tang and the history of an entire era.
